Attention on Deck as of Jan 13(update is AFTER this entry)
Dear Family and Friends
Rowynn just had surgery last night at 10pm. We came in yesterday at 3 pm because she hasnt been able to keep anythting down for 3+ days and we thought that maybe she just needed to be rehydrated w/ an IV. He anticipated that a siple IV would put her feeling "just right".
Turns out she had an obstruction...same area as where she had her first obstruction when she was 6 days old. Surgery went well, there were SEVERAL adhesions causing the obstruction. They released them all and she is recovering here at childrens hospital. Im w/ Ro Jared Dan'Yelle and Chase are at home keeping the rest of the world intact with home life and the rest of the family.
So thats the news folks I heard that it was a possibility that stuff could regrow after her first surgery. She is just so dang tough that we hadnt even entertained the idea that this was anything more than a flu bug she was just haveing a really hard time fighting. So when we brought her in yesterday at 3 pm it was for, not being able to keep anything down. By 6pm the surgeon had been called by our family pediatrition. The surgeon listened to her belly and within minutes they were bulking her up with antibiotics and IV fluid and prepping her for surgery.
It is strange how you think you have a plan about how something will happen and it goes comletly DIFFERENTLY, yet all is well. We DID want her to get IV fluids...
So friends and family- we are in room 325 at Prov. Childrens.Did I mention how greatful I am I have an AMAZING pediatrition?

all is well, all is well,
Hugs

Parallel Universe?
The doctor let Rowynn have clear fluids today...pedialite. She was totally into it, drank it all ...2oz.( :-( so sad hardly anything) and I was thinking Yay! we are on our way OUT of here! Then 2 hours later the nurse came in and checked her NG tube to see if the pedialite went through. It didnt, it was ALL still in her stomach + a whole bunch of NG stuff. So no more clear fluds, she is back on NG 100% of the time till the next time the doctor decides to try again with liquids. Tommorow? IDK. She is looking better. She is just kind of "snowed" looking from the morphine.Central line still in, so nowbody is sticking her with needles YAY! Just waiting for her to heal back to her old mischevious self I guess. I cant think of any place Id rather be than here with my "caboose". I know everyone is living and working and busy doing stuff, I just think of that as some other parallel universe-Its weird. I wanna hear about whats going on but I have no desire to be anywhere but here w/ my baby. Even home stuff sounds like channel surfing, I just have to turn it off unless I am directly addressed by one of the members of my family- then they need me and I listen give advise or w/e. This is all just decomressing I guess me writting in this blog thing. Well back to the room,
Hugs from planet Providence!,
