It is officially 1 week since the AK US pageant. I feel relatively recovered. Now Im just doing the final "what was I thinking about THIS time LAST week. I do it with all my kids birthdays too; example would be; this time last week I was getting ready for interview and worrying if Jared was doing okay getting all the kids ready for church.
Im pretty much all set to do the July 17th pageant. Its on a FRIDAY thank goodness. It feels like a Friday night kind of thing to do. I hated missing church for the pageant. Seemed kind weird to be representing upstanding married women of Alaska...and being somewhere OTHER than church with her family on Sunday. Im glad that at least the pageant part was at night so that my family was able to do both.
I need to raise $500 to compete in the next pageant. I don't have to buy any new clothes because I have everything from the last pageant. I have someone who does my hair and make up (volunteers), a coach (volunteers), I am supposed to sell ads (Im pretty good at that... So its just the entry fee. Anyone who wants to help ...$20 would even help...

RYC: So the sink was hilarious because I meant to "help" Aaron while he was gone and ended up breaking off the entire water line under the sink. Yeah... not good. Thanks to the plumbing expert at home depot and my dad helping me shut the water off to the house it was all nice and pretty when he got home :) Not so funny if I'd left it broken for him to fix. LOL
Good for you! You are going to do great. I am sad that I will be missing this one, but I am glad that I got to see you in the last pageant. You did awesome!
