Finalist in the Mrs Alaska AMERICA!

This Blog entry is to introduce myself as a finalist who is participating in the 2009 MRS. ALASKA AMERICA PAGEANT being held in Anchorage July 17th-18th.The pageant is going to be held at Bartlett HS

If I am chosen Mrs. Alaska America I will make personal appearances throughout the state of Alaska during my reign. I will be speaking for and to Alaska’s largest and important constituency: its married women.

Mrs. Alaska is uniquely qualified to maintain the responsibility of upholding the dignity and honor that the crown embodies. Mrs. Alaska stands as a testament to the accomplishments of contemporary married women in all sectors of our society.

My platform is Youth Mentoring.

I would like to ask for your support in my goal to become the next Mrs. Alaska America.

There are several ways for you to become involved:

1) Financial assistance – from the entry fee to the evening gown, there are different costs associated with competing. Any donation is greatly appreciated! You can donate via pay pal if you wish

All contributions are acknowledged in the pageant’s program book. If you are a business and would also like to purchase an ad for the program book, email me at edenmara@hotmail.com and I will send you a rate card.

2) Cheer me on – I would love for you to attend as I compete and cheer me on from the audience. You can bring signs, banners, or just applaud when I come on stage. I am going to need your moral support!

As a sponsor, you will be named and personally thanked in the Mrs. Alaska America 2009 program book.
